Well, at least 18. He's not shy for his age. Not sure about character wise but he's been playing under 18s for the last couple of years. Number 2 or so ruck behind Luck and Niemann

True. His sister is in the development squad. I got her, can't remember the other one in the ladies squad,.I've got but Cooke and Fairall in players auction for $110. All grouped up

Note Mair has his hair cut shorter so he looks a bit different with it shorter now than longer hair.

In guessing the trial game team placings from the listed players and taking into account what has been happening at training and rumours of coach's preference and wanting to test those:
A possible team

F Menzel Weckert Buck
HF Williams Ballenden Beattie
C Herbert Sinor McKay
HB Morris Moore Beecken
B Fleeton Thompson Litster

1R Redden, DÁloia, Rowe
2R Hansen, Neuman, Knight

res Rowland, Goldsworthy, Cooke
Unavailable to injury: BR, Boyd, Lukac, Pearce, Mawson
These team placings are not my choice (eg Morris HB instead of HF, Buck forward pocket) but appears the way Sam is thinking. Hopefully, Mawson and Pearce will be available for the first game

Is Slads injured or not playing due to other commitments or something??

If we were serious about winning the trial game, Goldsworthy would be playing FP instead of Buck and maybe Rowland instead of Neumann but testing and developing these young players is more important than winning the trial game and in 3 weeks time 25% of the team may be different eg Barkla and Sam Nicholls playing in the Seconds now will push for selection, Pearce, Mawson may be fit, maybe Lukac.

McFarlane was April was early April wasn't he so is he ready to play yet do u know??

Don’t know 35Eagles. I like Swanny and feel he has a lot to offer, notwithstanding his unfortunate injuries. It’s all guesswork at this early stage.
Weckert and Barkla could develop into real weapons this season.

Griff Hansen's stats from last year in under 18s. Like I've said he doesn't appear to be a shy lad. He's got a

tattoo on his wrist or hand i noticed it and commented on it on Saturday night.

Do the selectors not rate Barkla at this stage, has done the whole pre-season, no injuries and played a league season last year. It would have been a good opportunity see how he goes at league level.
