Dane was definitely there on Good Friday.

They're up the other day but no photos of them as disappear within seconds. Maybe cos he did it in April so maybe a week or two off playing.  The current players are up but not Fleeton etc.

Does anyone know where u can watch the state game yet though it's early days just more than too hard for me to attend it

Live on 7mate from 12:30. It was announced on 7 news not long ago so yes it means nibbles which i have when sport is on TV and the internet etc.

"No Ballendon?" He's too important to us as one of our few big players to risk playing in a mickey-mouse state rivalry thingy.

Agree with u 110% Aerie. Think the other person is a bit negative for my liking as i don't like negative people though i do try to be as positive as i can on the outside etc

Harsh. In the pre season review written by Andrew Capel, all coaches were asked what one player they would like in their team from a competitor club. Joey Sinor was the only player to get two votes so that says something in itself. Micky Godden, at the Eagles Season Launch, was also complimentary to our Captain, saying that he had the ability to turn a game on his own. Based on that, fair chance Mick was one of the coaches who voted for Joey.

Wasn't Joey S. the captain of the winning State Team last year.

Sure was Wimpey. He should be one of the first players selected.
Thought Luke McKay was a silly chance to be selected, bit difficult after only one game in this league. We may finally have a goal scoring half forward option once again. He looked good but very early days.

Goddsy McFarlane is on the injury list so he’s not gone

We should get a number of injured players coming back in Round 2.
Lukac, Boyd (not James), Wheare, McFarlane and Fleeton (sick, missed round 1). I could have missed some others , Wimpey will add to this list if need be. This will potentially push 5 or so reserves players from round 1 out of the squad. An updated injury list from the club would be handy for members.

Hear we go again.  NA game is having the woman games first and the league at 230. This is rubbish.  Hope they open the East side gate early. Last week it opened at 1200 and we all had to wait for it to open. This did not happen last year. The Eagles want to think about their supporters

I assume no staff I got there just before 12
But I agree gates should be open
No idea why the SANFL is programming women and men on the same day

Financially, the format of having the Seconds play after the League, is logical. More people stay on which carries them through to the 6-7pm time when they're more likely to spend money getting a snack or over the bar or even a meal. Personally, I would prefer to see the U18s playing before the League and the women's league playing in the earliest time slot.

I think it would be to boost official crowd numbers.  The crowd on Friday was 2,655 - whereas all games at Woodville last year (other than the Crows "Carnival Day") drew less than 2,000.

But I definitely prefer the Reserves to play before the League match.

We are trying to give the Women’s League more prominence and visibility. I get it but don’t go out of my way to watch it as there’s only so much footy you can consume in a weekend.

I wouldn't like to be selectors this week even before the under 18s play tomorrow like who do u drop back except for Knight for a Fleeton same as reserves a few were rested like o'Reilly Archie Charles were rested

I didn't look too close to the U18 side the other day. Kade Herbert playing.

Only cos of the league not playing and G. Hansen got dropped back to under 18s too. 

I'll be interested to see what Lukac s role will be if u have Niemann And G. Hansen in reserves being 3 tall people though Andrews is tall too.
