I would just like to point out that Rome Burgoyne from the Eagles U18s is currently playing for the power's reserve team, just another kick in the guts for the Eagles.

So the rules already allow the AFL teams to filch from SANFL clubs

I think F/S and NGAs are allowed to play four league games for their potential AFL reserves team.

Barkla did this when he was an Eagle U18, before being selected by the power as an NGA.

I think one of the Meads might have also done this.

Re Mitch Hardie, Eagles supporters can thank the form of Geelong's Mannaugh who appears to be the one that's kept Mitch at arm's length from AFL selection. Mannaugh mirrored Mitch with his later age drafting, spending time in Geelond Seconds as a midfielder/flanker and was preferred over Mitch for promotion. So, if Mannaugh stays fit and in form, our chances of seeing Mitch return increase.

Just a small statistical summary of the season:

Eagles played 36 players during the season.
Six played all nineteen matches.
Eleven played their first league game for the Eagles.

What about off field for 2025?
Assuming Jacobs will see out his 2 (maybe 3?) year contract.
From the outside looking in I've been disappointed with Gavin Colville's efforts.
He appears disinterested and has no impact or involvement in the quarter break huddles. Maybe he was reluctant to take the Senior Assistant role on from the start and was talked into it?
Maybe someone who has left the game more recently will have more to add and possibly from a successful SA Team. Jesse Lonergan would be ideal with his background but appreciate that he wasn't comfortable coaching players he'd been team mates with. No idea what he's doing now but a name that springs to mind is Zane Kirkwood. Another is Scott McMahon from Sturt initially Eagles.

From memory Lonergan went to Norwood as a assistant not sure though 
At woody oval games I’ve noticed Cica watching he didn’t look happy maybe he could come aboard 
We as a club are lacking something on field besides the obvious ( yes not me being captain obvious this time ) not sure lack of something animal grunt or something. To much attempts at fancy shit we weren’t good at .
I hope that makes sense
