2024 changes

Not sure who has signed on again for 2024 but would like to see Toumpas, Goldsworthy, Cameron and Thompson go around again. The first three named have always had their issues stringing games together but would probably still be in our best side in my opinion. Perhaps it is just simple genetics for these blokes or does our fitness and conditioning program need a good look at? Jesse Lonergan was also in that category but we still jagged 2 flags with these blokes

With Cameron it's definitely genetics !!

However I definitely believe our fitness and conditioning program needs to be reviewed including what was going on at training. We lost far too many players with midweek injuries this season - particularly in the first half of the year.

All those blokes can play increasingly can't string together more than 3-4 games going flat out without injury.

Yeah it was written. He told the club he had elsewhere to coach or words like that

Off to Athelstone as A Grade Coach

Knight did a reasonable job as Reserves or "development league" coach.
Canteen sales improved.
I believe this position and those of Assistants need to be turned over every couple of years to keep the group fresh and new ideas coming through. I'd love to see someone like Colville or Cicca as our key Assistant Coach. Expecting an announcement soon on the new senior coach, could be this week maybe.
