Re: WHAT DOES 2021 HOLD FOR THE EAGLES?
Out of the 5 think Jonte's the only one being country as they live in Kadina and if the people who don't know Jonte on here he has or used to have a "MO" before he was 17 he turned 17 the day after the grand final i asked someone back the evening of the westies game how long he's had it for someone said a while as it was definitely there the end of August

Re: WHAT DOES 2021 HOLD FOR THE EAGLES?
Powell said to stay tuned for future signings. Anyone know ?
3 new signings may be 1. Dane McFarlane, attacking HB Flanker
2. Liam Buxton, forward/ruckman
3. Mishae Wollogerang, 18 yr, wingman
but only guessing from the rumours.

Re: WHAT DOES 2021 HOLD FOR THE EAGLES?
Here's hoping our 2 new recruits from NSW, Cooper Sharman and Mitch Hardie aren't going to have their Pre-season training delayed by the Covid border restrictions into SA.
Been watching youtube footage of our new players - looks like we're going to have exciting aerial strength with Cameron able to take huge overhead grabs, Sharman pretty good. Might keep Vonnie "on his toes" to perform ! Then throw in Jack Hayes for his occasional forward stint.
Mitch Hardie looks a classy opportunist, the sort we need to replace Rowe. Reads the ball off hands well (not as good as Rowe but few are), is taller and stronger overhead, good snap around corners off one step, maybe a little quicker than Rowey. Exciting times.
Can't factor in the Menzels' effect - both might be fantastic for the Club but equally possible, it may be disastrous with Daniel especially continuing his injury run - Daniel deserves a bit of luck to enable him to play 2-3 seasons and show SA what he was capable of doing.

Are or aren't going to have their preseason training delayed by covid border restrictions for SA?? Wouldn't they go home for Christmas or couldn't they go home for it depending where their families are? When does pre season training commence??

Re: WHAT DOES 2021 HOLD FOR THE EAGLES?
Regarding the people training anyone know if Caleb Smith is one of the few locals recruited or if he has done pre season training he's the brother of Henry and he was overaged under 18's but he had hamstring problems but his dad said he was thinking of doing a pre season training with us, yes i know both of them though Caleb and Henry don't say much

Re: WHAT DOES 2021 HOLD FOR THE EAGLES?
Hard one for Eagles. Don't want Jarrad unless 100% committed and ? whether he can return to 2018 standard after having 2020 off. Would be useful if his trial game form could be assessed before a decision is made.

Talking to some of the players they don't believe Jarrad will play for the Eagles. Haven't seen him at training. Only need committed players.
