I thought the same as you did Goddy guess prices go down after they’ve sold a large number just a guess from my days in wholesale retail

Believe the Eagles might have signed three ex magpies during the week. Thought something might have been announced yesterday.............maybe not yet finalised.

+Lets hope that any signings complement our side and do not cause issues. We have a great amount of U18 coming through and hope they get first option on spots.
Would have been good if we went after Summerton though.

Names I have heard that might be coming from the magpies to the Eagles are, Sharrad, Rudloff and Davidson.........but who knows.

Many stories about Summerton. Believe he might have a job working on the wharves and due to varying rosters unable to play league or maybe not train regularly, also might be coaching around Murray Bridge.

Totally agree "goddy 11" we have some excellent former under age players that must be given an opportunity. I think only McPherson and Weidemann will likely get drafted. Really like the look of young Jimmy Rowe, very small and not quick but has very good skills and an excellent footy brain. Cooper Gaffney always impresses, can find the ball. As per usual no talls standing out.

Let’s hope whoever we sign fits in with what is needed in our team .
Magpies could be a good breeding ground many of those league players were in the seconds waste of league standard talent imho

No Jimmy T. for the Eagles in 2018. Was NOT one of the final three delistings for the power. Better luck next year we hope.

I saw a post on SA footy saying we will go for Eddy think that’s highly unlikely

Spoke to the club yesterday about recruits, they said we will advise members when any deal is finalised.

It has been mentioned a few times that most announcements wont be done until all the AFL drafting is finalised.
On another site mentioned that Cam Giles is going to a country club. Probably expected as his body is frail.

Also I have broken down and renewed my membership. I'm a glutton for punishment. I hope the programing suits my weekends. No Eagles matches clashing with the Crows. Ill do the SANFL live steam. Love watching replays after our wins.

Why wouldn't Cam go to a Country Club Goddy? Look plain and simple our ressies players get paid what? around 1 maybe 2 hundred bucks a game, he'd be getting at least ten times that in the Country with his AFL experience, if not more than ten times the amount. WTG Cam I say you just cant blame the guy. Our senior players are expected to do similar to AFL pre seasons and on top of that at work full time jobs getting paid a pittance for it. It sucks that the SANFL are dropping salary caps too. All I say is the SANFL better grow some balls and stand up for themselves or the SANFL has a limited lifespan.
