Bit of a fan of Jimmy Rowe, not tall or quick but very good skills and footy brain. Hope he puts a lot of pressure on Poole.
Talking to the Weed recently he said he was hoping Jake could get to 6'4".
The young talented reserves team should be great to watch next year.

Take it with a grain of salt.

That I am
I just had to say at least the Eagles didn’t lose 15 percent off the cap

The recruiting has been totally underwhelming so far...is that it then??? Really we couldn't kick goals last year and most of our forwards have gone...are we looking at any forward options??

I only read rumours eagles Sturt and Norwood chasing Eddy
But it’s the silly season I don’t believe anything
Until the club says it’s true

Basically added for this year, Von Bertouch, Redden, Lukosius, Gray, Sharrad and Rudloff.
Think the mix of Lukosius, J. Hayes and N. Hayes is not too bad.
Tom Gray is a goal kicking small. Possibly West might also play up forward at sometime. It's not the personel I'm worried about but the style of game and getting chances for our forwards.
Unsure if recruiting has finished. Made plenty of room in salary cap for expected return of Jimmy T. which didn't eventuate.
Lost Wundke, McGregor and Allmond.
Must also leave some incentive for juniors such as Rowe, Weidemann, C Gaffney, Moller and Schmush to push for a senior spot.
More than likely have Toumpas and Cam E-Y in 2019.

Good summary Wimpey. Id probably expect a couple of county boys may come in from our zone. Very expensive to get TAC players here nowadays.

Moller from the country, think they have farm next to or close to the Hienjus's and Hayes' farms. Will look at what other country boys have a chance.

I’m seeing the rumour on talking footy
He’s played for us and centrals not sure who else he’s played for
The rumours are he’s not going to Centrals

Just got home from Eagles training, Lewy, Jarrad Redden, BORHOLM, Gray, Sharrad and Rudloff all at training.

Wundke is the forward coach.

Senior players took training.

Heard that lights are due to be installed in 2019.
Council about to start upgrading rooms.

Bomber was keen to have a good pre season and be around for Lewies milestone game next year after having frustrating year due to his injury.
Prior to injury this year he had only missed one game since he arrived at the club, the 2015 GF. Found it very hard to get fitness back with the ressies fixture late in the season and because they missed finals, very underrated player hope he can have a big 2018.

Would they use Redden mainly forward with brief stints in the ruck as opposed to the other way around?

Looks like they've recruited well, but need a better plan to transfer the ball through half forward if they want to improve on their 2 wins / 9 losses finals record since 2012. Playing more than 4 players in the forward line would be a good start.

Michael Scott Bomber to Henley was posted on SA Footy was bitten by that .
An Eagles friend not on here trotted off to last nights first training league players took training Bomber was there . I would think reading the above posts by Columbo and Wimpy he’s staying .

Seb I’ve seen on SA footy and Talking footy
I’m resisting biting to it
We would have four Ruck if we brought him back
If we did would Bomber be CHB
Who knows
