Not taking the bait

AGM last night.
Not much to come out of the meeting, but a couple of little interesting items;
Angus Rowntree has retired.
Both our trial matches will be held at Noarlunga, Vs Port & SA.
Vs Port will be on a Friday night and Vs SA on a Sat. afternoon.
Saving $17,000 by not training at Thebby. Eastern Parade rental $1.
Expect to see mainly youngsters in the fast football this weekend.
Coach said we are working on kicking more goals (I would hope so).
Have a womens team in 2019.
Seb G. still training and coach said he will most probably be given a contract. My opinion is that if this happens the coach is unsure about how J Redden will perform.
Don't expect to see Petrenko until about 6 to 7 weeks into the season.

Was there a reason given for Petrenko? I think I know what it is, but just hoping it’s not it’s not injury.

Not injury. Hopes to be a (wealthy) TV star, hasn't been seen since October. When finished will have to go through a mini pre-season, this long, long off season might have him fresher at the end of the season.

Yep, that’s what I thought.

I'm thinking 2018 the Eagles might start off slow and hopefully get better .
Unlike 2017 ect start off great and fade away

I can't make the fast footy noticed yes a few Juniors and also Seb that caused me to take the bait on SA Footy
