I’ve asked another Eagles fan he hasn’t heard this one either or the Eddy rumour either .

He's in our very top list of players. Can not lose him. Money will talk though.

Money can’t be the reason for SANFL.

Spoke to one of the coaching panel about two weeks ago, said we were going after a big forward, looks like it was Eddy. Said we were unlikely to be able to match offers.

Well, looks like money was the reason. Can’t beloeve it... would never expect this from Allmond.

Transfer fee was $50k... hopefully that can help the Eddy deal.

If you see players around you getting better money I can not blame him for that. He is in our top 6 players IMHO. Its hard to believe $50k transfer fee at SANFL level. What is Eddy going to cost.

I’m devistated but life goes on our club will be winning and losing games .

putting my contrarian hat or conspiracy hat on. Does anyone know what the incoming Port players are on. Maybe he found out they might be on more than him. I could not imagine him moving. He had issues a few years back but came back bigger and better.

I hope he can get over his constant injury problem but then he will be playing against us every time we are up against the intruders

We've been hit lightly so far unlike Sturt. Rookie draft may tell a bit more.

While I have been under fire from answering a moaning South fan moaning about the Eagles stealing Ainger and Wundke .
Makes me wonder whoever of the SANFL teams actually signs Brett Eddy how many years of stealing our player will they moan about .
