Ruckman is not Lowden, and I don't want to break confidence by mentioning names just yet... but just prelim chats to take place and see what happens.

Not high profile by any means, but a 200cm ruckman/forward would definitely be handy.

Cant say who but the eagles have been talking to a delisted ruckman

i bet if the budget did a write up on him like they did on the Pup it hurt Paul just as much to play against the eagles

Think we would have gone from equal largest payroll to the lowest...that other team look to have got busy again with their brown paper bags...don't be surprised to see Eddy playing for those dirty cheats if he doesn't get drafted

Any news on whether delisted Michael Karpany is returning. He struggled to hold his place in the WAFL League and may not be any better than what we have. But if he is a "freebie", then we should welcome him home.

Disregard the rumours re interest in Butcher - our recruiting staff aren't stupid.

I have heard from sources the Eagles did talk to butcher very close to the top of the eagles
I have promised not to say who else the eagles have spoken to none of the names mentioned have been this player

Karpany didn't get delisted...or hasn't as yet...thought they said he was going to get another year to prove himself

Looks unlikely, but he may be away with family.

I also heard that schulz has sold house and moving to fremantle..will be picked up in draft...have to see i suppose

my own thoughts Pav was past it last year from what we saw .
And Schulz is he a bit to injury prone

Truth be told, unless a delisted player has had some good form we should not get too excited about them. AFL drafts are speculative in the lower draft. If you think back over the years how many ex eagles have come back and have failed or took a long time to establish themselves. I am sure our recruiters are doing due diligence considering our financials.
To add to our pain there's still the rookie draft. I am hoping from my point (not the players) no Eagles will be taken.

they are saying on talking footy delisted player will sign with Centrals no names being mentioned ive asked for names
i can not say the name ive heard but would like to see if it gets mentioned

before i forget (memory issues from my injury still ) former Eagle player who was AFL played more Eagles games trying to come back to the Eagles .
