Is it Tiller or Rimington?

It's definitely Tiller - apparently he has told Godden that he is not fit so expects to play a fair bit in the b grade early in the year.

Tiller another tall, could be handy as can play fwd or back. Pity he's not a midfielder.
Would love Rimmo to come back, just his presence lifts the energy level of the whole team. We needed that this year.

Re: rumoured ins for 2013
Would not call Mark Dolling's joining (if it happened) as huge. Rumour was floating last year. Port don't rate him highly - last report was that he was retiring to play country football. Eagles have to be careful that they are not stocking up on mediocre midfielders or HFs from other Clubs who are always going to be on the fringe of selection (Carey, Kane, the guy from Westies that is trying out) but not the classy midfielder that we need. Probably missed the boat for 2013 and should save up for 2014.
Meanwhile we'll be hoping that Powell, Lewis and Rowntree can remain injury free, that AFL rookie Mitchell can remain with us and play midfield roles and that Sumner, Allmond, Goldsworthy and Joyce can step up to the plate to carry us through 2013.
Throw up the question of who is likely to play full back? Contenders might be Culley, Day, Killian or Nick Salter (if Power don't use him). We'll miss the pace of Greiger who could match it with most FFs.

Mark Dolling mediocre - what a load of rubbish - Vice captain best and fairest 2011 and probably their best midfielder over the past 3 years.

Is Tiller definitely back? If so he should boost our defence

Re: rumoured ins for 2013
? how many of the AFL listed players will be available for us for the first game:
1. Ellis-Yolmen, from media reports, has shown promise in some Crows trials but not ready for AFL action this year and could be handy.
2. Joyce has had an interrupted pre-season and difficult to gauge whether he will be standing up as a good SANFL on-baller this year. Maybe?
3. Jarrad Redden. From all accounts has pushed his name up there as the Power No1 ruckman and we might think we won't be seeing much of him. But Lobbe and Renouf are coming back and could take his spot in the next 3 weeks. Would be a big asset for us.
4. Kane Mitchell appears to be playing too well (unfortunately) for us to see much of him and sadly, he is the sort of player we most lack - fast midfielder/onballer who runs all day. Also from reports, Cameron Heath appears unlikely to be available for us having put in some solid performances.
5. We might get lucky with Jared Petrenko for SANFL Round 1if the Crows decide he's short of a run in his comeback from injury. Also Luke Thompson may be behind the 3 Crows talls in Talia, Rutten and Sam Shaw with Ottens and Reilly taking the HB flanks and sending him to WWTC.
So, at best, Ellis-Yolmen, Joyce, Redden, Thompson and Petrenko for Round 1 could make for a useful line-up.
(For later in the season, we can expect to get 5 matches at least out of unlucky Nick Salter and maybe 1-2 matches out of Brodie Smith as they make their comeback from injury).
