The Barton wrote:Jack Firns still one of my favourite current Eagles.
As honest as the day is long and he's extracting every ounce of ability out of himself.
Competed well in ruck at times on Saturday and even won a few taps.
He keeps adding value and flexibility to our side.
His fierceness and psycho approach are priceless. Champion data points don't show his true worth.

Thanks "Columbo" I failed to make clear that kick ins from within the goal square are not a stat where as those that occur outside the square are counted.

Clay Cameron can't take a trick. Injured for another 2-3 weeks. He hasn't been able to string together more than a handful of consecutive games with us unfortunately. Has potential to be a very damaging player if he could only get his body right.
So we won't be getting him back this week. And I assume they will be very cautious about Lehmann even if it is supposed to be a mild hamstring strain. No one tall likely to be taken off the injured list. So we will be even shorter this week! Do we bring in Lukac (who hasn't been playing very well in the reserves) or Cooke (who has been been playing very well)?
In positive news looks like Guilhaus is close to returning.

"Titan2" I think we have next weekend off. The fortnight break should give Allmond, Knight, Toumpas plus one or two others a chance to play in our next game.

Yes, agree Titan. Our depth with medium sized players is ok but we're on a "knife edge" when any of our few remaining talls go down. And if Lehman doesn't play (in 2 weeks), we're in deep !@&!!. Probably Bruce comes in as a shortish 192cm CHB with little spring/reach. IMHO Lukac isn't ready and would get slaughtered (not even a useful learning experience for him).
Best scenario: Lehman and Seb Guilhaus plays.
