The Eagles have to find a way to win. Should be good weather and a good track at Alberton which should suit the Eagles. No Riley Knight, but perhaps Weckert and Herbert back from injury. A bad patch of 5 losses in a row since the bye in June. Hopefully they come out differently after the weekend off this time and build some form heading to September.

Seems like if they dont win soon, like this week, there wont be any September for us.

Yep. We might make it winning 1 out of 3, but likely needing to win 2. It's in our hands. Port celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1994 premiership over the weekend.

Would not have mattered if we had the fullback of the century in that last quarter. Our onballers got smashed and the ball came to Hodges with monotonous regularity

And I still remember Weidaman and another good defender left out of the play by the coach

If it was me as Port are using this to motivate their team to greatness over us . I’d use reverse psychology use it to actually motivate our team to success .

Not sure why they haven't listed Buck as an out from the last match. Also Menzel who I note is also not named in the Reserves.

The team named on the field is about as strong as we could possibly be given our existing squad. With Bruce and Barkla potentially coming into the team I would like to see Morris moved up forward and/or some minutes onball.

Our bench is incredibly weak. The fact that we are potentially brining up Hann who has averaged about 10 possessions across the last 8 weeks tells a story.

Port's team is an interesting one. They will have four players all around the 200cm mark playing who would all be much taller than our lead ruck (Lukac) who wouldn't be more than 196cm. This could either upset Port's team balance or they could dominate with contested marks around the ground.

Yeah that bloody Giniver started the problems and Hodges’ accuracy killed us! Never been so disappointed.

Anyone know what Noah Angove has done to be out this weekend and yes we're going to smash port oh Sunday.

Watching, on TV, North playing scintillating football against Glenelg. North look a 10 goal better side than the Eagles and thoroughly deserve 5th place if the Crows don't take it. Pathetic end to the Eagles season.

Get behind our U18s as they may have climbed into the Final 4 this afternoon.

I think you might find that he is trying to qualify for his YP team.

At the start of the season he had a very loose agreement about when he played for the Eagles.
