Why do we agree to play PA on a Sunday to give them an opportunity to get players back into the side from a Saturday game.

Could Sharman be the taller forward some eagles fans have been calling for ?

An interrupted preseason halted his ability to get looked at earlier in the season. He badly rolled his ankle and missed about 6-8 weeks of solid training. There appears to be something special about him and at only 20 a good future is likely. I'm unsure if he is a KPF yet, only slim and might not have the body strength, but runs well, has a good kick, jumps athletically and his kicking is two sided. Thought Luke Beeckens running game in the reserves last week was sensational, looked like he had been told to really take on the game, his metres gain would have been enormous.

Only half time but perhaps the most feeble effort i've seen in years. Couple that with poor decision making and execution, but effort should be non negotiable

No excuse. 3 other SANFL clubs have beaten them. Just a poor effort on the day.

I’m still pissed at losing
Were players injured
Or was this a game to try players out

Talking to Jack Hayes he said his injury is one to three weeks and Clay Cameron is the same. Lonergan is likely to be back next week. Kobe Mutch needs a shoulder reconstruction but will try to see out the season before having the op. Dane McFarlane is a possibility for next week. South will have had an eight day break and the Eagles six. One little positive was the second half played by Zane Williams, I thought he covered a lot of ground and was evasive, maybe a move from half forward to wing/on ball might be on. Gelling and cohesion seem to be our biggest problem, this was always going to be a challenge. Also our rucking situation is not ideal. We must think positively.
