Luke Thompson will play his 250th SANFL game on Saturday against Sturt.

Sam Rowland is an Eagles junior that came though our Centre Of Excellence program, and is part of an exclusive club of players that has played in U/18s, Reserves, and League Premierships with our Football Club.

Rowla will play his 150th League game for the Eagles on Saturday against Sturt:
• Debut - Round 12, 2015 vs West Adelaide
• 2 x Premierships 2020, 2021
• 1 x State Game 2021
• Bob Quinn Medal (ANZAC Day) 2021
• Club Vice Captain 2023, 2024

Virtually an unchanged team from last week. Time to consolidate, work together, eliminate those passing errors and get the job done for Thomson and Rowla! You can do it!

Unfortunately, we're playing Sturt at their full strength - FaheySparkes, McFayden, Dakin and Breur return and immediately into their side. So they've got some depth considering they've been playing good footy without those players. And now they have them. For me, they're Premiership favourites just a little ahead of Norwood.

Unless someone else is wearing 11 that number belongs to the ruck with the knee injury but I checked last weeks seconds it’s jack boyd he came to us with a knee injury he’s listed against Sturt seconds first ruck

Would appear to a be a long, long way off league standard even despite a limited pre-season. Usually when its a fitness thing such players might play well for a quarter or have small bursts where they might do some nice things and it makes you think that there is someone to work with.

Not really seeing much to get excited by with him unfortunately.

It was crap to watch at the ground our seconds players should be brought in .

True. Times up for Goldsworthy and Menzel. And one forward has 2 games, the other 4. And still we haven't seen a proper support ruck-man to help Big Red, releasing Ballenden to be a true CHF

Not much to get excited about today. Yes we have a go , yes we are lead to the ball , yes when we win it we give it straight back! The season is close but i do not think we have improved as the season has passed. Let us hope we make finals

5 straight goals in the last quarter! Only beaten by 8 points but we were outclassed much of the game. Their 14 points kept us in the game. That one umpire was pathetic and influenced the game far too much. Fahey-Sparkes scragged Reddo all game. Every ball up he had hold of Reddo’s guernsey!

Something I don’t think anyone’s mentioned Rowe injured I think his knee in the last . Any clue on how he’s going ?
