(Wrong topic but...) Just to reach the widest Eagles audience: there is a Schwarz playing in the U18s. Is that a relation of the Eagle 1st Premiership captain?

Any update on Brinker-Ritchie's injury. Is it season ending?

If we are using 182.88cm as the cut off -
Ballenden, Lukac, Litster (just), Thompson, Pearce, Hardie, Beecken (just), Cameron, Bruce, Lehmann & Collier Dawkins

Got a message on Facebook from a great eagles fan . He’s no relation to the first eagles captain. He’s related to a Vicki Schwarz that was on 9 newswhybother wrote:(Wrong topic but...) Apart from Ballenden, I dont have much faith in the rest taking screamer pack marks

Re: West v Eagles 27th May Hisense Stadium
A great win today even if the opposition were like training cones!
A number of players had their best match for the club yet including Lukac and D'Aloia.
Rowe and Knight got a tonne of the ball while Hardie was uncharacteristically quiet.
Beeken seems to have found that consistency this year that he hasn't had in the past with another very good game.
Also pleasing to see Menzel have a very good game in the reserves. Hopefully he can come good in the second half of the season.
What happened to Comma who was named but didn't play in either grade? Another 'training injury'?

Must have been his haircut, played in the 1’s and had 13 touches and 6 tackles.

Re: West v Eagles 27th May Hisense Stadium
From Zac Milbank
Woodville-West Torrens jumped into the top five with an emphatic 56-point win against West Adelaide at Hisense Stadium.
Restricting the hosts to just one goal for the first half, the Eagles looked every bit a finals-bound outfit as Fos Williams Medallist James Rowe continued his hot form with three goals and 26 disposals.
Rowe’s impact on the match was significant as he not only hit up teammates but also the scoreboard as he helped ensure his side would lead comfortably at each change en route to a third win of the season.
The 23-year-old former Crow received great support from midfielders Riley Knight (28 disposals, six clearances) and Adam D’Aloia (27 disposals) while skipper Joseph Sinor remains on a high after captaining his State to victory, collecting 24 disposals, laying 13 tackles and kicking a goal.
Wodonga recruit Max Beattie again hit the scoreboard for the visitors with 2.2 from his 17 disposals and seven marks as he makes a seamless transition into SANFL ranks as long-kicking left-footer Will Pearce also bagged a pair.
The loss was West’s most disappointing this season after displaying plenty of spirit in each previous outing, regardless of the result, under first-year mentor Adam Hartlett.
Rebounding defender Callum Park again led the way statistically for the Bloods, racking up 25 disposals while acting captain Isaac Johnson registered 21 disposals and nine marks.
GWS recruit Sam Frost returned to the line-up after a hamstring strain to show great promise with 22 disposals, six marks, six clearances and six tackles in his third outing for the hosts.

Good to put a face to Mickyj. Shared an umbrella.
Our mosquito fleet combined well with our talls and our mids.
Kick a bit straighter (3 posters) and it’s a big margin.
Looking forward to kicking butt at Alberton next Sunday.

Re: West v Eagles 27th May Hisense Stadium
Good to see all 4 grades get the win this weekend. Plenty of good this week.
The Good - League
Winning!
The usual suspects (Knight, Sinor Rowe) - just get it done week in week out.
Adam D'Aloia & RCD - Starting to look better each week
The Backline - solid the last couple of games
The Good - Reserves
Dan Menzel - 20 disposals, 13 Marks, 5 Tackles and 5.1 in the 2's
Jack Firns - 23 Disposals, 6 Marks, 6 Tackles - worked hard all day in the 2's
Daniel Sladojevic and Lucas Cooke (18 marks and 10 goals between them)
The development of the younger guys (Neumann, Siney, O'Reilly Hoile etc)
The not so good -
got nothing at the moment other than hopefully the tackle mentioned by Wimpy is deemed ok, Brucey has been good this year.

Re: West v Eagles 27th May Hisense Stadium
If Ryan Bruce is suspended and to match Port's many talls, I think Cameron will have to go back to defence. Up forward we could bring in D. Menzel or Sladojevic.
I really like it when Will Pearce has his stints at full forward, is a very good lead and strong mark as well. Normally he is a good long kick for goal, although he has been missing a few lately.
Lukac competed well again and I thought some of his ground work was excellent.
