At training last night it was thought that Ballenden would miss two matches and Cameron about four. Mead looked OK.
The worst looking one at training last night was Sheedy, he looked absolutely terrible, said he was not feeling great, handed over some of the drills to his assistants.

So Sheeds will definitely be on the bench

So this would be a club suspension, and not an SANFL report? A bit brave of the club, given the importance of this game. A bit more information from the club would help.

5 out is a big hit. Lucky we are playing the bottom team. Jimmy T missing on what would have been his 100th game. I'm happy enough with the ins.

Surely Conner McLeod must get a look in soon. His weekly possessions are always good. Some good performances out there today in the 2's.

I think he’s improving every week

Agree re Connor McLeod. On a similar level to Pudney (playing OK today at HT today), Hoile (done little last 2 weeks & today) so reward McLeod for his consistently good form. May fail but good to know in forward planning for next year.

Despite workmanlike Seconds win, can't see much there to excite League planning for next year especially in the tall department (including J Wheare's 5 goals and J Lukac).

Relief win today. Knight, Clark. (first half partic.), Sinor set us going but backline work was outstanding (Thompson, Lehman's 3 big contested marks &'Beecken's return to form) except for an uncharacteristic "shocker" by Duval. A special mention for Jack Firm's work and (surprise!) 2 goals.

Watched the game on the SANFL now pass . Wasn’t great excluding the third quarter but a win is a win .

Not a club suspension I believe. The report wasn't made until later in the week. hard to get info on it. Something inappropriate said, don't believe it was racial, and not to do with goal umpiring.

Despite being a player who doesn't get a lot of possessions or kick many goals you could well make the case that Jack Firns is amongst our top 5 most important players due to his versatility.

Beecken should never have been dropped to begin with - a puzzling decision at the time but glad he is back in the team.

I reckon Firns is the most underated role player in the league. Never gets high champion data points but bloody important to our team. A great club and team man.

I wouldn't mind some transparency from the league here - handing out a suspension without any official statement doesn't look good, does it?  All it does is fuels innuendo.

Do we know how long is his suspension?
