Connor Ballenden test sounds good news if available. Need him badly against the legs. as is McFarlane. We had 5 players out last week. Jimmy T cant get anything right with his body.

Not a club suspension I believe. The report wasn't made until later in the week. hard to get info on it. Something inappropriate said, don't believe it was racial, and not to do with goal umpiring.

I wouldn't mind some transparency from the league here - handing out a suspension without any official statement doesn't look good, does it?  All it does is fuels innuendo.

Spelly, we don't need to know. I am happy him doing his suspension and the matter disappears. (I hope)


Do we know how long is his suspension?

I can see your point...if no one publically knows exactly what's it about, then it can't be held against him in the future - eg. Tex Walker.  We just assumed it was to do with dissent.  But looking at wimpy's post again, I have another thought as to what it might be.

On the other hand though, what makes the SANFL (or AFL) decide should/should not be made public?

If Menzel got a week, surely Hartlett gets a week for telling the crowd as he’s walking around the boundary after giving away the 50m that the Eagles must be paying the umpires!
