Jade said doors open for pup if he wants to return whenever that maybe and mentioned about Braxton not Johansen or Hill so maybe they've changed their minds or something

Re: Start of season 2020
If the clubs generate revenue this season, is it a possibility the players will receive match payments?
If restrictions are eased further and grounds are able to have people, but just restrictions on social distancing (4m2 rule), you wouldn’t think this would effect the SANFL too much. Most grounds would still be able to hold several thousand if spread out I would’ve thought? Meanwhile, if only 10,000 can attend an AFL game, there’d be more people looking to going to the SANFL for their footy fix.
Who knows what will happen - but perhaps the SANFL will receive a bit of a boost in popularity thanks to how well SA has done with containing COVID-19 and the willingness of the players, coaches and officials to get on with playing, regardless of match payments or crowds etc.

Re: Start of season 2020
Went to Oval Avenue last night and looked through and under the fence and through the southern gates at the scratch match. League Vs Reserves. With the poor lighting and yellow tops Vs white tops it was hard to pick out the players. Lonergan and Foote ran laps, both have minor leg issues. I think Foote will play and Lonergan will be touch and go. There were four 22 min. straight quarters. It was Redden v West in the ruck. In my opinion West has to play in the 22, don't think Redden is fit enough. West can come off the four man bench and relieve in ruck and up froward. Vonny played up forward and took a couple of strong marks, Jack Hayes played around the ground and looked very athletic. Goldy was good off H/B and looked fit after a bout of O/P. Youngster Lachy Jones stood out at halfback and will definitely play the first league game. Interesting to see Jacob Wehr play on the wing for the league team, it might have been because the league team had a few missing, but in previous league Vs reserve match simulations, Wehr has always been on the league side. I think the coach has a bit of time for him and it wouldn't surprise me if at sometime he gets a league game. He has pace, a beautiful left foot kick and reasonably strong hands overhead. His main problem is that he is very slight and easily taken off the ball.
Jimmy T. played the first half and looked OK, even did a 50 metre kick. After half time he ran a few laps. Think they were being a bit conservative with him. Joe Sinor was very, very good in the centre, looked like he is set for a great year. Jack Firns was his usual self putting plenty of strong work. Didn't see Louy Sharrad out there.
Overall I thought the standard was pretty good seeing it was their first hit out for three months.

Yes, they are still outs. Don't think any will be back.
The players at the end of last season knew Johansen wouldn't be back.
Will have to rely on youngsters to fill their positions.
