Yes, yes, and yes to your questions Columbo!
2007 was his last to date. That brought up 10:
1993, 1994, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
That is equal to Ken Aplin who umpired in the following Grand Finals:
1940, 1943, 1945, 1946, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954

Your thinking of the other one, can't think of his name right now.

I think Tim Pfeiffer retired at the end of last year, but I thought that Richard was also going to finish up.

I think Richard may have been going to finish up a few times, but keeps comming back for more......why wouldn't he when he cops abuse for his decisions even when he is at a different game!!! I think Tip Pfieffer did retire at the end of last year though.

Welsh won't play, but think Burton might end up playing in the SANFL.
Welsh and McKenzie due to return against Norwood.
Disappointed Rimo not in the team, improved greatly last year and is unlucky to have missed. Not happy about Goldsworthy in the BP, his flair and ability to kick a goal will be sorely missed further up the ground, this was proved in trial against W.A. Would in future like to see Rimington in the BP. Have high hopes for Guilhaus, much better ruckman than Dabrowski. On the evidence sofar I think Greiger is a better player than Hier and is likely to perform better against Chambers.

I'm not certain who is doing what to us Footy fans wimpy .
Either the Eagles or crows or both are playing silly buggers.

Not a bad looking lineup still with a few to come back in. Be a shame if Welsh doesn't come up. Forward line with Welsh, Knights, Salter and Burton would be pretty handy!!

A couple of things.
Gates open in North West (Cricket Club) pocket as per normal and South East (City) pocket.
Socreboard pocket gate is CLOSED due to roadworks, you cant park along the road that runs out the back of the Eastern wing.
For all the kids there is an free Easter Egg giveaway at the community tent that will be manned by reps from local footy clubs recruiting for their junior season.
Game not live on radio but there will be regular updates and live crosses on 107.9 LIFE FM.
