EAGLES
Eagles forward Michael Wundke must pass a fitness test on Saturday if he’s to confront North at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Sunday.
The triple Ken Farmer Medallist, recovering from a groin strain in Round 2, has been named on the extended interchange bench after getting through a practice session on Wednesday night.
Wundke has been joined in the Eagles’ 23-man squad by midfielder Matt Appleton, who had the week off last Round as the club’s Reserves had the bye.
Co-captain Luke Thompson will play his 100th SANFL IGA League match after making his debut in Round 1, 2010.

An ugly win but a critical one.

Our inability to kick 15-18 goals in a game has been a problem now for 2 years and remains so. Have to find a way to score more freely or this season will be a tease like last year.

Hopefully, we might see several selection changes this week for the Anzac Day clash with Wundke, McGregor, Lewis and Batley coming in.

Ugly win it was . I think the league side needs to look at the seconds side to see how well thye play the running game. Which might be due to the forwards going up to the league team .
Redden is improving time out has hurt him i agree rest them up forward .
Wundke and Maca needs to come back in .
Whats Norths Deal with Yarran the trial game they belted into him and yesterdays game they belted into him . Boyd ok he isnt liked by other teams they were bashing into him . Variation of the jarman years.
But dont give the Eagles a hard dig North should have over ran the eagles didnt and not much in their second side either
