Eagles member update centrals trial

As has been widely publicised, our trial match versus Central District has been moved from Elizabeth to Thebarton Oval – now to be played as a 6 x 20 minute ‘period’ game which is scheduled to start at 5:30pm TONIGHT.



The following squad will compete:



Allmond, Batley, Corbett, Culley, Davoren, Day, English, Fitzgerald, Geddes, Goldsworthy, Graham, Greiger, Grocke, Guilhaus, Heinjus, Hicks, Hill, Hoban, Jarrad, Killian, Lewis, Matz, McMahon, McKenzie, Miles, Polec, Powell, Rayner, Rimington, Rowntree, Schultz, Smith, Staple, Symmons, Treeby, Thompson, Broadbent, Dawson and Redden.



There is no reserves match scheduled.



With the start of the minor round less than a month away, it is timely that we announce to you our leadership group for the 2010 season. The group will consist of Mark McKenzie, Luke Powell, Leigh Treeby, Luke Jarrad, Justin Cicolella and Adam Grocke.



I’m sure you’ll join me in congratulating these players on their inclusion in our leadership group and in wishing them all the best in taking our Club forward in season 2010.



Our captain and vice captain will be announced next week.
