What injuries ? Is Hentschel available what abut Tiller ?
I thought Saturday's game was a step forward and that the team is beginning to gel but it will take time given the new personnel (Tiller Bock etc. )also at times the yo yo effect of having AFL listed players in and out of the time & the "normal" adjustments of injuries. What do members of this forum think ?

That was a hard fought out game .I hate Norwoods mini league game style !!

Why and what do the little ones do to upset you.

Boring as batshit match, but I was pleased with our game, that's what matters really. The style of footy in 2005-07 (06 in particular) was sooo much better. It's hard to believe that was only 4-6 years ago, now we just get scrums and loose defenders anywhere.

Is Cica ok? I think he got a knock to the knee. Some Norwood 'fans' got their biggest cheer out of that and shows you how good their day was. Wankers.

Are you talking about Norwood's actual Mini League Mick? or their league sides interesting game style? My guess is their mini league may have played a more attacking style along the lines of what we did today. They played a very similar game style in the first game against us at Woodville last year and we won that day too.

Great win by the boys, pressure on them all day was sensational - probably highlighted by James Gallaghers brain snap in the last quarter.
Need to back it up again next week now.

Won ugly, get a full, fit side and the style of play will improve.

Best game I've seen from Jared Petrenko, hopefully we will have him for next week. Would not be very happy if I was a Norwood supporter with the lack of discipline shown by some of their players, especially the captain.
Cica did hurt the knee in the last quarter, will be interesting to see how he comes up at training Wednesday night together with Craig Parry, we really will need the big man this week.

With all our injuries it was good to see the incoming players give their all. Staple always makes a contest even if he can't get the ball, would look at keeping him in the team even when Grocke comes back. McKenzie would have to be the cleanest ball handler in the SANFL. Best game seen from Petrenko, breaking lines like he did is just what is needed.
Although I like his tenacity Jake F. does not get enough of the ball, maybe he could be replaced by Goldsworthy who played well in the reserves. Brad Geddes played a commanding game in the back lines for the reserves, although short of match fitness will surely come into league contention soon. All up an encouraging effort from the "As".
