Re: Eagles v NT 2022
From WWTFC Facebook, the NTNews website will be doing a live stream. This seems likely because it is where you can see all of their local matches, either live or delayed.
In contrast, NITV appears NOT to be televising the match.

It appears you have to pay a subscription for the NTNews to be able to get the live stream.

Re: Eagles v NT 2022
As far as I can ascertain these are some of the players that will go to Darwin.
T. Menzel, M. Litster, D. McFarlane, J. Lukac, A. D'Aloia, C. Ballenden, M. Duval, S. Nicholls, C Adams, J. Wheare, Z. Buck, C. McLeod, M. Mead, R. Knight and Seb Gilhaus.
Some that won't be going are: D. Menzel, C. Cameron, M. Gpoldsworthy, K. Mutch, J. Allmond, L. Thompson, J. Redden, J. Lonergan and J. Firns.
I have asked if the full team could be posted somewhere!!!!
Good to see quite a few youngsters being selected.

If it's only a few dollars, might consider it as entry to a SANFL ground and pay it! Don't want to gloat but i think my Advertiser digital sub covers the NTNews. I cant find a time. Anyone know?
From the NT news
Eight Woodville-West Torrens players to watch against NTFL in representative clash
A former Crow, one-time Blues forward and a Territory star will turn out for SANFL outfit Woodville-West Torrens against the NTFL men’s and women’s representative teams.
REPRESENTATIVE football returns to the Territory this weekend and NT News has the latest on who will hit the park at TIO Stadium.
The Northern Territory Football League’s men’s and women’s representative teams will take on SANFL heavyweight Woodville-West Torrens on Saturday.
And while the Territory has named two strong squads, little has been known about the Eagles’ teams, until now.
Woodville-West Torrens, whose men’s team claimed the 2021 SANFL premiership in a 67-point flogging of Glenelg, has leaked eight names for Territory fans to keep an eye out for ahead of its full squad being named later in the week.
There will be plenty of eyes on Knight at TIO Stadium and expectations are he will be in the thick of the action.
The former Adelaide Crow racked up 55 games at the top level, notching 37 goals in the process. He returned to the SANFL club in 2021 and made an instant impact.
Playing through the midfield, Knight was one of the leading possession getters in the competition with 450 disposals from 18 games.
As a result, the 25-year-old was selected in the SANFL Team of the Year and will be pushing his case for a return to the AFL ranks.
The former Blues and Crows forward joined the Eagles in 2021 from Central District with his brother Daniel, a former Swan and Cat, in a move which put many noses out of joint at Elizabeth Oval.
However, the switch paid off with Menzel slotting three majors in the premiership decider. The number 11 pick in the 2011 national draft helped shape a potent forward line during the season – with the likes of his brother, Geelong recruit Tyson Stengle and Jake von Bertouch – kicking 24 goals from 14 games.
The former Brisbane Lion is a recent arrival at the Eagles having made the move for the 2022 season.
Ballenden spent four seasons at Brisbane where he played three games at AFL level.
But more recently he won Brisbane’s VFL best and fairest.
The 200cm key position player has shown the ability to play at either end of the ground and will provide a key target in the front half.
ADAM D’ALOIA
The teenager, who could be a 2022 AFL national draft fancy, made his name in the Eagles’ Under 18 grand final win last year, taking home the Alan Stewart Medal for a best on ground performance with 29 touches, eight clearances and a goal.
He also averaged 25 disposals across 10 games in 2021.
The inside midfielder, an AFL Academy member, also captained South Australia at Under 17s level in 2021 and played three reserves matches during the SANFL season, averaging 16.7 disposals a game.

Yes, I logged onto the NTNews website and it accepted the Adevertiser digital pass. There is a heading under the sport menu, "streaming", which might be where to find it on Saturday. I'l be trying anyway

NTFL Representative Games against SANFL’s Woodville West Torrens.
Press Conference: 2022 Cazalys NTFL Representative Game
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1320845435055830
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1237230973467113
Kicking off the day, the best of the TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League will run out against Woodville West Torrens’s at 4.00pm and later, the Men will play from 6.30pm.
Weather for Saturday:Humid 32C Possible thunderstorm 70% rain 5-10mm. Wind 14km/hr. The humid conditions will really test our Eagle boys.
The umpiring could be interesting given that there are several rule differences between the two competitions.
I look forward to watching the clash between Thommo and NT's Full Forward, Jackson Calder. Calder is a lot like Glenelg's McBean [tall, a strong overhead mark, an accurate kick for goal - but a better player than MaBean. At the other end of the ground, NT has Full Back, Ryan Nyhuis [Ex-Fremantle] hopefully playing against our new recruit Ballenden.
The game should be uploaded to Youtube by Sunday evening as is the norm for NTFL games.
I'm really looking forward to the game. Go the Eagles!!

Woodville-West Torrens will field an inexperienced line-up for Saturday night’s clash with the NTFL All-Stars in Darwin.
Continuing the tradition of the SANFL premier tackling the Northern Territory’s representative side, the Eagles will have only seven premiership players take the field at TIO Stadium from 6.30pm.
Speaking on SANFL Radio, Eagles coach Jade Sheedy said a mixture of key players being injured and isolating within Covid protocols would open up plenty of opportunity for the club’s Reserves and U18 premiership stars to shine.
The Eagles’ Women’s side will have an ideal tune-up under new coach Narelle Smith against the NTFL’s best female players in the curtain-raiser from 4pm.
Sheedy said he was excited for the whole club to head north as both he and Smith mix the Men’s and Women’s programs together this weekend.
Brisbane Lions recruit Connor Ballenden will suit for the first time with the Eagles on Saturday night in Darwin.

Highly-rated teenage midfielder Adam D’Aloia can expect to have minutes inside the centre square as he pushes his claim for a regular League berth while athletic U18 premiership skipper Jordan Lukac will start in attack.
Brisbane Lions recruit Connor Ballenden will begin alongside Lukac in his first outing for the club while West Adelaide signing Mitch Duval will play in defence.
Fellow recruit Jarred Allmond is ruled out with a hamstring strain, while experienced pair Jesse Lonergan (calf) and Matthew Goldsworthy (hamstring) also have soft-tissue complaints.
Jack Oatey Medallist Jack Hayes (St Kilda) and Magarey Medallist James Tsitas (Gold Coast) won’t make the trip north as they are currently training with AFL clubs in the hope of being selected in the SSP before March 9.
Ruckman Seb Guilhaus, who played with Victor Harbor last season, will start at the first bounce in the absence of Jarrad Redden.
Sheedy said he was looking forward to players such as Zane Williams, Mitch Mead, Lachlan Hoile and NTFL experience Dane McFarlane having an early chance to impress in the preseason.

As someone Facebook said, the matches that are live streamed on NTNews (at cost) are normally downloaded and available to watch on YouTube (free) within 48 hours.

There is a short article about Connor McLeod on The Tiser site today that says both games will be live streamed by News corp so guess it will be on the Tiser page also but as with NT news assume you would need to be a subscriber.

Last night watched NTFL last season's GF StMarys vs Nightcliff on youtube. Impressive standard. Always noted for their speed but they have a lot of strong bodies and talls. Eagles with a lot of young players and foreign humidity will start underdogs.

The club has sent out a link to watch the game to members. Hopefully you received in your email yesterday. With the humidity here in Adelaide today, we might as well be in Darwin!

Nt 6.3 WWT 5.3
We lost our way a bit with sloppy play but still a good hitout at this stage.

Re: Eagles v NT 2022
Yes, the new link worked.
As expected, the Eagles were going to find the slippery conditions difficult and many unopposed overhead marks dropped.
Thought Seb Guilhaus looks very good. Was hoping for more from Ballenden, even with the conditions not suiting him - hasn't the body strength of Jack Hayes. Knight and Rowland were good. Pudney getting many touches but made some costly mistakes. Wollergerang is costing our backline dearly. Bruce and Lehman have had good moments as has Mead. Haven't been able to pick up D'Áloi - how is he going.

Switched on to watch from half time. Good game! Like the look of little number 4, Nicholls. Could McLeod step up to League level? He does have some poise and class about him. Tough conditions, you’d expect NT to run away with it in the last quarter given they’re in season.

Re: Eagles v NT 2022
Knight our best. Lehman has done a good job on gun FF Calder. Litster had a good Q. Commentators keen on McLeod but his opponent has opened up through the centre too often. No 4, I think it is little Nicholls played an important part in 2 of our goals.
Up to 3Q time, taking all things into account with only a third of our players, a good workout. Was hoping for more from Hoile and Lukac but early days.

Re: Eagles v NT 2022
Satisfactory trial. Guilhaus dropped away after half time (possibly fitness) and Ballenden and Lukac were unable to create anything out of centre. Of the younger players, I thought Litster and Nicholls showed something. Buck was also clean with his ball handling. Lehman played a good blanketing game on Calder, Bruce had some good moments. Our HF line allowed the ball to come out too easily (oh for Gus Poole !) and NT took it through the centre unopposed. Was Mitch Duval playing?
Now to re-hydrate and recover for a light training week.
