Past Eagles - Premiership winners 2022
Thought there may be a bit of interest in past players who have won a premiership around the state & country this year.
Luke Jarrad & Nick O'Brien - Strathmore (Vic)
Jared Petrenko - Broadview
Marc Borholm & Angus Rowntree - Reynella
Matthew Appleton & Malcolm Karpany - Moonta
Jackson Lee & Isaac Moller - BSR
Brett Ellis - McLaren Eagles
Pierce Seymour - Norwood
Jack Gaffney, Cooper Gaffney, Tom Schmush, Tom Gray & Dale Pearce - Port District
Scott McMahon - Imperials
Duane Schultz - Gumeracha
Aseri Raikiwasa - Ports (Eastern Eyre)
Peter Hoban - Western Districts (KI)
Daniel Minney - Marble Range
Tyson Stengle - Geelong
There are obviously some who moved elsewhere and others who didn't see any league footy during their time and may be some that I have missed.
Really happy for Bomber and Gus to get the flag at Reynella after both getting injured in the 2015 Semi Final against West and missing the Grand Final that year and then losing the year after and for Pup to get a second in a row after one with Hahndorf last year after.

Not on the list that I looked at, however....
A couple of guys who were mentioned in another thread - Cooper Hayes (who played 3 Under 16's games in 2017 and 7 Under 18's games in 2019) and Luke Hayes (4 under 18's and 15 Reserves games in 2016) both did.

Wondered by your comment if you were thinking Dale Ellis, if you were he is 39.
Brett Ellis played 18 reserves games with us in 2016, would say he's around 30-32, has won the last 3 mail medals in the Great Southern League.

Don't know that I have ever seen a guy kick a ball as far as he could, saw him kick a goal at training one night from about 80m
