Woodville-West Torrens wingman Chris Hall is the first to admit he didn’t truly appreciate the Eagles’ dramatic 2011 premiership.

Preparing to play his 150th Macca’s League game against Port on Sunday, Hall was in just his second senior season at Oval Avenue when he was awarded his treasured medallion.

He had just arrived back from an injury-plagued two-year stint with AFL club Fremantle to play his part in a three-point victory against Central District in the SANFL Grand Final.

Since then, the 28-year-old has been forced to endure a series of heart-breaking finals exits, driving him to ensure he gets to taste the ultimate success for a second occasion.

One of the most consistent players in the Macca’s League, Hall provides great value to his team through his ability to carry the ball across lines and deliver it neatly by had or foot.

The Flinders Park FC product also loves a goal, as evidenced by his four-goal performance against Glenelg in Round 21 of 2
