Eagles defender Jake Summerton could play his first IGA League match in three years when his side tackles North at Prospect Oval on Saturday.
Summerton, who last appeared at League level in Round 13 2013, has been included as cover for injured co-captain Pat Giuffreda, who will miss one match with a slight hamstring strain.
The Yorke Peninsula product has been named on the extended interchange bench with fellow inclusion Jared Petrenko, who was rested with general soreness against the Bloods last Saturday.
Star midfielder James Boyd will play his 150th IGA League match after making his debut with South Adelaide in 2007.

Every game is a banana skin. We can not afford to lose this. I can't see us loosing but North always plays well at Prospect and they put in a good shift against the Crows. I say a 60 points win but will take 1 point. Some tough games coming up.

He'll be fine Micky and would've taken the kick for the winning goal if allowed. WTG Hally!!
I do love it when the side that plays the game in the right spirit gets up:)

Was a fair cut in his head but he was fine.
Somedays you just have to win ugly, today was one of them and top spot came with it.
5 rushed points, 4 or 5 goals to them that rolled through an open square.
We created opportunities with the breeze but just lacked a bit of polish, hopefully the polish is back over the next month.
Good sides dig deep and find a way.

Considering none of the eight quarters throughout the day were won at the northern end of the ground; to defend an eight point lead against a side renowned to run all over opponents in the last half/quarter (in the last 10 years, it's probably happened half a dozen times to us), showed character. In fact, the ball spent around half the time at our end in the last.
It might be said we were a bit fortunate that Wundke slipped, and in turn Hall kicked the winning goal. Then again, we didn't have a lot going for us during the match with missed shots and their classy/freaky/arsey goals.
All in all, two more points are banked, and we can move on to next week.

Despite North's lowly position, they looked stronger, faster and more skilful for 3 quarters - Poole was one of only a few setting the example of strength in the crunches but North brushed us aside and moved the ball well into set shots 40 metres out straight in front. Then the last Q! Showed total commitment and possibly best win of the season, considering North were playing pretty classy football.
Our rucks and midfielders were well beaten, ironically North being led by ex- WWT McDonough 32 disposals. Von Bertouch after a few of dominating games recently was well beaten by Mitch Harvey. So we won with a different contribution.
Again, McGregor showed what a class act he is. Could be "Stop McGregor,Stop the Eagles!" Need Gaffney to step up consistently like his recent 4 goals against West, to take opposition attention away from McGregor.
And now, we wait with bated breath, to see if Gus Rowntree can successfully make it back from last Sept ACL this year, beginning next week. Only needs a couple of hiccoughs (like a slight hamstring strain) and he will run out of time to be fit for finals. But having a fit, firing Rowntree, Petrenko, Boyd, O'Brien, Poole would give us a midfield up with any of the other teams.
Very tough game this week against Port.

I think North not playing every other side helped them get over us . Plus no Guff the back line lacked his presence
