Got better as the game went on, had a dozen or so touches, took a few grabs, kicked a goal and knocked a few blokes over....but.....he did go off towards the end of the game limping a bit, didn't see what he did though.

Final score was

South - 8.13.61
Eagles - 6.12.48

Press ended up with 3 goals, Giles, Commitogianni and Jack Hayes 1

Souths big guys were much bigger than ours.

Interestingly it seemed that the breeze was favouring the nothern end, but only 3 of the 14 goals were kicked at that end, South also kicked 6 in the last to the Southern end to win the league game

Re Giles limping off in last Q, hope it's not his chronic foot problem.
We have gone a few years now where we haven't had the 198 - 200cm guys coming up through our juniors like other clubs. Thry must be out there somewhere!!!

The club injury report has Giles out for 4 weeks with knee injury. Not sure if it is an updated report.
