Preview

The Eagles’ battle to gain an important Double Chance continues Saturday when they host Ron Fuller’s Panthers.

With West Adelaide having the bye the Eagles can jump to outright 3rd with a win before they themselves have a bye in Round 20.

The Eagles recent five game form line is W L W L W making this match a chance to break the cycle.

Last week, with 3 league debutants (Luke Dunstan, Jake Von Bertouch & Matt Appleton), the Eagles proved too strong for Glenelg holding the Tigers goal less in the second half and scoreless in the final quarter. South are coming off the bye and before that a 105 point defeat at the hands of North Adelaide. Prior to that the Panthers have been in decent form winning three of their last four games.

Eagles Kids Day

Now in its 5th year the annual Eagles Kids Day again celebrates junior football in the Eagles zone with the match promoted to school and junior club teams. All kids (& parents of young ones) are welcome to take part in the traditional pre-game Kids Parade. Just meet behind the Southern End goals by 1.40pm to march around the ground and be the guard of honour as the Eagles league team runs out. The first 100 kids to join in the parade will receive a special participation pack.



Thanks to Vili’s we also have the traditional Eagles Donut giveaway for junior members and parade participants.

We have a free kids raffle on the day with a range of merchandise and voucher prizes being drawn at the end of the first three quarters of the league game.

The Eagles Football Club will be using round 22’s match V’s Norwood @ Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval as a chance to celebrate the 20 years since the Club’s 1993 League Premiership.
