Both league and seconds will play in three quarters

The Eagles will be without a string of first-choice players when they match up against Central at My Money House Oval on Saturday.
Premiership defenders Luke Jarrad and Luke Thompson will be rested against the Dogs while Carlton recruit Cameron Giles will continue to ease back into action as he manages a foot complaint.
Ken Farmer Medallist Michael Wundke should return for the Eagles’ next trial after undergoing surgery on his shoulder while Matthew Goldsworthy (adductor), Scott Lewis (groin) and Jake Von Bertouch (quad) should all feature in the club’s next outing.
Essendon signing Nick O’Brien and former Power ruckman Jarrad Redden have been named to play in the IGA League team.
‘’Both are itching to get out there,’’ Eagles football manager Luke Powell said.
‘’Reddo has been keen for a long time to pull the Eagles guernsey on again while Nick is eager to put one on for the first time.’’

Results are nothing but all credit to the boys playing in that heat

1 of the 6 qtrs was played with Centrals using senior players whilst Eagles still had full Reserves, hence we went scoreless.

Seemed to be a good (hot) hit out. Hopefully no injuries.

I was heading out there yesterday(being driven) but my adult kids forbade me in the weather I'm still getting there .
My understanding reading another forum  
The scoreboard listed each of the three quarters as two different games .
And im not sure about the dogs but the Eagles didnt play all of our top name players .
Which IMHO is the way to go after last years game in December at city mazda
And ive read Gaffeny played well in his first league game

Its appeares a quiet start to the new season from all. I am still waiting on the Eagles website to update player profiles. They must be busy in the office there.

I tried to post on my Iphone when i was at a couple of rehab appointments .
Cant speak for the eagles home page but this sight might be behind I am a wee bit slower than i was trying to post as i find things out .
