Eagles gave Port a 6 goal head start . Trailed in every quarter ran over port and won by 38 points

I'm not sure the message the runner was giving prior to start the match was right - the fact that it's a final does not mean you have the same intensity as the last match gone. And it's not just another game, it's a final. Port threw everything into it during the first and 2nd quarters and predictably got worn down in the end.

However if the league side did this against West, West will be 5 goals up at quarter time and stay there. It's not just another game...this is where you make your mark on the season.

Interestingly the Port runner stayed on the ground an awfully long time on Saturday .
