Top performance by Eagles. Fast ball movement and much improved leg speed on last year. The defensive pressure of our small forwards (McGregor, Poole, Petrenko) was exceptional.
Good coaching by Godden getting Wundke to draw Georgiou away from the goal-front and leaving the too quick McGregor one out on Bode. But also the little guys in the midfield led by Boyd were very good. Considering we are badly undersized and outgunned in the ruck, we did well around the ball-ups.
