Re: Round 10: Eagles v Norwood - Saturday 4 June @ Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval
North Adelaide midfielder Jack Graham has been named captain of SA’s Under 18 side for this year’s AFL National Championships.
Graham, 18, is a strongly-built inside midfielder who made his League debut with the Roosters last year. He is the son of former West Torrens player Jeff Graham
I hate seeing ex players sons playing for other sides. Especially when they are good

EAGLES
Woodville-West Torrens could be boosted by the inclusion of senior duo Michael Wundke and Scott Lewis for the clash against Norwood at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday.
Both veterans have overcome hamstring strains to be included on the five-man extended interchange bench named by coach Michael Godden.
Godden faces a selection dilemma as to whether he will include the triple Ken Farmer Medallist and premiership midfielder, who have not played an IGA League match for a month.
Small forward Lachlan McGregor, who also played previously with SANFL rival Glenelg, will play his 50th IGA League match against the Redlegs.

when we name 2 additional players in our squad it usually means some-one is suspect. Surely not after 3 weeks off. Res have named 19 so I think Lewy will be there.
Any-one know if the Wanganeenin the U18 is related to Gavin?
Also a Weidemann in there.

State under 18's game is Saturday at Footy Park, wonder if any of ours who aren't selected will be released for the 2's and 18's games.
Jake Weidemann is Wayne's son

I'm not sure why Petrenko was a withdrawal from the side. His injury may be the reason why he was not in state team(squad).

Our plays look sensational when the running handball comes off...especially when we go coast to coast. But terribly frustrating when it doesn't and we go around in circles. Rhys Woods put in a good effort for playing in both matches. Boyd will probably poll the most votes for us, and is a chance to top the Magarey voting overall in current form. Except of course, he can't win it.
The last time we won all four quarters of a match was the corresponding match last year. A few more four quarter wins (and at least one 20 goal score) and I think we stand a better chance to win the flag this year than last year. Also, some more big victories...West Adelaide last year were able to have some big wins (6 wins 50+), whereas we could only get just the one for the whole season (the Norwood match), despite winning 17.
