This Sunday when the Eagles return from the bye to take on the Port Magpies at Alberton, it is not only a massive game for the Eagles season – it is also a huge game for our coach Michael Godden!
In an SANFL first, the two league coaches Michael Godden and Ken McGregor will put their names on the line…
Both have agreed that the losing coach will change their name to “Maughan Thiem” for one week. Maughan Thiem who are major partners of the Eagles (Maughan Thiem Hyundai) and the Magpies (Maughan Thiem Ford) have come up with this unique promotion.  As a trade-off the winning team’s members will receive $100 off their next car service at Maughan Thiem when they present their members cards.
Make sure all Eagles Fans head down to Alberton on Sunday to support the boys and the coach!

Goodness me! just win a game Micky, or you may have bigger things to worry about than some silly gimmick that was done 15 years ago by Geelong - Wiskers

What a game a great hard fought win against the "FORM" side of the SANFL !!

All 3 grades won. I believe the reserves are now back on top.

After qtr time one of the best games i've seen in a long time, must be the Eagle trio in their coaches box thats got them up and going. great hard game coming off the bye and the guys really stood up, bit of irony in Stewy kicking the goal to seal it too.
Twos will be top on percentage.

Sounded on the radio just about as exciting as the 2011 GF. Wish we could have been there.
