Can Ellis-Yolmen "walk" to another Club if not selected for his second consecutive match this week?

Re: Eagles V Port
A little surprised the selectors didn't select Ellis-Yomen for
1. Insurance against losing a tall - for the second week in a row, we're taking a big punt that a tall won't get injured and Ellis-Yolmen can play multiple roles. Would have played him in a forward pocket as an assistant to the lumbering Redden.
2. He was listed as 3rd best in the Seconds match last week so he must have regained some form
3. Being the second match in a row, he is free to swap Clubs. Having said that, selectors chose Joyce which stopped his possible "free walk".
Still, selectors are trying to retain the improved SPEED factor shown last week by retaining Dawson and Karpany and that's good. Bad luck, Salter and Grocke weren't fit to play - along with Ainger, it would have been a preety useful 3 pronged attack.

Re: Eagles V Port
No, Mickyj, definitely not:
With every player fit and assuming nick Salter is not in the Powe's BEST 21, I propose that the Eagles could line up:
FF Salter Grocke Karpany
HF Allmond Ainger Hall
CC Mitchell Lewis Jarrad
HB Sumner Thompson Raymond
FB Guifreda Culley Day
1st R Parry, Powell, Rowntree
Interchange Redden, Kane, Goldsworthy
This forward line has marking power, mobility of big man (unlike Redden who sometimes struggles to get to the fall of ball) and good pace with Allmond (when resting) and Karpany (who is learning).
HB line has 2 good kickers Sumner & Raymond to set up attacks.
A weakness might be whether Goldsworthy has a big enough engine for a midfielder and may need to take Sumner away from the HB line to run as a midfielder and replace his HB spot by Kane.
Day can be a worry at times but the best option at present and played well against Norwood.
A pretty good team and we can always hope that Kirk makes it back in the latter part of the season

Reckon we will loose staple soon. Really hope Ainger ends up being close to what we paid for him, as it's a shame to loose a local kid due to paying big bucks for bloke that has now played at 3 clubs in 4 years

Staple played seconds looked out of it till he was moved down back. But he seemed to hurt his arm/shoulder at 1 stage .
Ainger played well and kicked 5

Someone made the comment about one of Grocke and Staple finding a new home down back...hopefully for Staple he is the one who finds a new home because I agree, I'd hate to lose anyone like that. Not withstanding the fact he played one of the key roles in our premiership from 2011.

Think personally that Staple needs to find some form if that's down back it cant hurt.
After yesterdays game Ainger was worth whatever we paid for him .
Dawson should be back in the seconds this week .Fitzy or Salter have to come in .And what small gets a game I have no idea !!

Re: Eagles V Port
Was Or has Staple been crook or injured when he was dropped??
Surely he wouldn't spit the dummy for being dropped, only a matter of time and he will be back in.
I think Dawson should get replaced by another tall, but to be fair he's being asked to play the 2nd tall when Redden rucks, which seems really strange. That's a role better suited to Fitzgerald /Staple etc. Dawson would be better as a floater across the fwd line plus the two talls. But at the moment we are only playing 2 talls and the rest are smalls.
Really like the look of Karpany, who replaces him?
Poole is a totally diff type of player, what's happened to Appleton?
Kane didn't do much and looked very slow at times, any chance of Cam Ellis-yeoman getting a game this week.
Please win this week, South seem to always be up for this game, and they are playing away which means they will be better....ha ha.

Re: Eagles V Port
Lindsay has played 3 top games in the Ressies. Has more pace than Poole, Lane.
Could take the injured Karpany spot.
