EAGLES APPOINT NEW MIDFIELD COACH

The WWTFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Norman as its Midfield Coach for Season 2013. Norman replaces Rhett Biglands who was unable to commit to the role due to work obligations.

Norman captained West Adelaide in 2004 and 2005 before taking up an assistant Coaching role with the Eagles in 2006. Norman then joined Sturt as Reserves Coach before taking the reigns as Senior Coach from 2008 through to 2010. In 2011 Norman worked as a SA based recruiting officer for the Brisbane Lions.

On the appointment Michael Godden said “Luke brings a lot of experience to our coaching group having coached Sturt’s League team for 3 years. We’ve lost a few experienced players from last year’s core midfield group so to have Luke on board to develop and lead the next group of young midfielders is great”.
