For those who weren't there the winner was decided using a new method this year. All players were given a score out of 10 for every game they played, after 15 games the scores were averaged to come up with a score out of 10 with the highest average being the overall winner, meaning that a player who missed a few games but was consistent across all the other games he played is still a chance to win......well something like that anyway.....anyone else who was there feel free to have a bash at explaining it.

Some great speeches from Benny and Shirls but Cica's was one that should probably have been recorded and played back to every player who pulls on the blue green and gold in years to come.

Our new upstairs area is magnificent, hard to believe looking out over the balcony it's still the same oval.
And then there's the lift......................great, don't have to use stairs anymore.
Shirls & Benny's speeches were great but then we came to Cica, boy did that bring the tissues out.
It should be played to every young boy that represents our mighty club.

It was a great night. Was thrilled for Gus and his family, hope he has many more seasons with the Eagles.
