I would be so tempted to play Salter in the fwd pkt/bench. I know, he hasn't played for ages. I just think he gives that X factor when he plays up fwd. Would love him to be our full time FF next year.
Grocke in for Day and if he fails to come up, then play Salter for Day.

Think Salts would be keen on that idea, but Port may not be, wouldn't expect to see him for more than a half in the magoos after so long out.

Question , how were the back lines structured?? With Day dropped and from the stats it looked as thou Grieger was our 2nd ruck, who played CHB and FB??

Yep Grieger played 2nd Ruck .I was there cant think who played fb and CHB it was a flooding affair .think perhaps thompson played chb and paddy played fb .Backs kept us in the game by shutting out ports forwards in the second term!!!

Was an interesting game of footy .port play an interesting style which worked well in round 1 .But I think it takes a lot out of the players and like the second term if you dont score its a lot of wasted energy IMHO.Kick straight first term today could have been the same as round 1 dont kick straight eagles match you goal for point .
Three talls worked for the eagles today .Midfield worked .
