Just looking at toole he wouldn't be that bad injury wisle as Pat walked on it and didn't have a moon boot or crutches. Its more the side of his foot. Pearce came off with crutches with ankle iced up wether he left with a moon boot on who knows and Weckert definitely was with the trainers when he came off at half time it took him ages for him to come off.

Expecting to see a number of changes this week and it would not surprise me to see another couple of debutants this week - Liam Ueding and Blake Hansen along with Menzel and possibly Goldsworthy back in. Eagerly awaiting our team release this evening.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Reddeer, maybe I'm already part of the selection committee

You're a good one Micky J, a very passionate and loyal supporter, just like many of us on here.
Not long before we see the team and Micky J post it on here for us.
Would love to beat the Bays on Sunday and remind them of us spoiling their 100th birthday party in 2021 !!

Re: Glenelg v Eagles Glenelg oval July 7
At last we seek Macfarlane back. One thing is for certain, he's done a long stint in the Reserves with consecutive games from late last year so SURELY we won't see the return of the injury prone player from 2-3 seasons ago!! He's too good a player to not be in our league side.
Interesting that Lukac is named. Last time we played Glenelg Redden got absolutely monstered by their smaller, more mobile ruckman - Gould in particular. I wonder if Sauce remembers that and is why he's brought up Lukac. Of course it also allows Ballenden to be permanently stationed up forward which is important with Weckert out and Wheare still and unknown quantity.
Beattie MUST have an impact. He seems to have gone many steps backwards in his development this year which is strange given he was training with Freo over Summer. I wonder what they did to him!!!
I think last we got our bad game out of system. We can only improve from that. The Bays are definitely beatable. I'm tipping Eagles by 13 points

I see the Cheater (Tsitas) is named as 3rd emergency for the Suns.

So he is slowly making it up the ladder to be on the interchange bench to maybe getting a second(?) game. Seems like a good career move to me.

He has played 5 AFL games, but he is getting paid a small fortune to play in the lesser league. Wont win another Magarey Medel there thoughwhybother wrote:So he is slowly making it up the ladder to be on the interchange bench to maybe getting a second(?) game. Seems like a good career move to me.

Titan, re your post re Lukac- Lukac may not be playing. I know for certain that from the extended interchange bench, 17 year old Charlie West is in the playing 22 for his first game. Jack Firns is unlikely to be dropped. So that leaves 2 remaining spots and having West 195cm and Firns 190cm, you would expect the remaining 2 to be runners, Macfarlane and Mawson.

I heard the winter lurgy has affected a couple of players so there could be a some late drop outs.
