Bad bad bad. Struggling to find any positves out of that performance I'm afraid.
Can see a massive clean out of players coming at the end of the season, not convinced that's the answer though.

A lot of the players look like they are just marking time, and cant wait for the season to finish......then leave anyway.

Yes, looking for easy kicks playing bruise free football. How the mighty have fallen.

For me a big disappointment has been the lack of progression of many of our Premiership winning U18s players from 2019 and 2021. Particularly from the latter.
I would have hoped and expected that 4-5 of them by now would either have solidified their spot in our side or be pushing for selection.
I look at our side and think probably only D'Aloia and Litster have done this and look comfortable at the level. Not sure what year Buck was playing U18s but I still have a question mark on him. Besides D'Aloia and Litster, who else in our squad from past recent u18 squads looks capable of making the grade?

I think the latest odds of $34 (only Westies longer at $51) tell the true story of our season.
I thought I was smart taking $10, $15 and $21 earlier in the season. Then to have to suffer these performances. Very disappointing!

This post got me curious....
From the 2021 Under 18's
2 are at AFL clubs
1 went to Centrals (Launer)
3 are currently in the league side & 1 is injured (D'Aloia, Pearce, Nicholls & Lukac)
13 are in the reserves this year or injured.
No idea what happened to the 2.
From 2019
6 are at AFL clubs
3 are in the league side (Beecken, Buck and Williams)
1 is at Centrals (Dale Pearce)
3 are in the reserves this year or injured
1 is chasing cattle
1 is in the WAFL after going to Port.
Unsure where the other 7 are.
Daniel Slajedovic played in the 2019 losing side.

We don’t like the wet and mud. Same as last year.

I think at the game it was said to me the best . Eagles were trying to do the fancy stuff rather than get the ball through the goalsAerie wrote:We don’t like the wet and mud. Same as last year.

This could be ugly for the Eagles this week, I'm worried already. Port may have a few less AFL listed than last time we played them but our form has dropped considerably since then.

I’ve said something on SA footy asked the person who said what’s my issue I said the poster said he was gone before the south game and after the south game .The Barton wrote:Fake news re D Menzel. Maybe next year though...
Now realistically he won’t be the only player leaving imho
