A few with test against them Who is available. DBR and Sinor would be good gets. May have made the difference last week.
David Brinker-Ritchie Knee Test
Jesse Lonergan Achilles Test
Ryan Williams Hip Flexor Test
Joseph Sinor Ankle Test
Daniel Sladojevic Knee Test
Jonte Hunter-Price Illness Test
Sam Tilley Illness Test.
Patrick Weckert has struggled in the SA U18 . Perhaps a return .

Surely must be injured or how strong is that side. AFL players surely must have priority.
https://www.zerohanger.com/geelong-mid-season-draft-recruit-mitch-hardie-a-live-chance-for-an-early-afl-debut-138207/
Hardie, who will pull on the No.41 jumper at Geelong, will have to wait for his first game with the Cats at either VFL or AFL level for at least two weeks, having not been brought in to play for the club's reserves clash with Footscray on Saturday prior to a club-wide bye weekend.

Understatement but a win is a must this week to pull away from our rivals. With a bye next week hopefully, we get some back the following week.

Teams are in...and I think that Lucak has been harshly treated

I think if he had his time again he would have dumped his dalliance with cricket over Summer and instead committed to football and completed a full pre-season training so that he was cherry-ripe from Round 1. His indecision may be costly regarding whether he gets drafted at the end of the year.

A bit longer with the Eagles could be an advantage to both.

Re: Bulldogs v Eagles June 17 Elizabeth oval
I think Lukac is a bit unlucky to get dropped. Thought he's been quite good the past few weeks and has been improving all the time. Still, I think if we are going to play Brinker-Ritchie and Lukac in the same team then one of them has to be able to play more positions then simply ruck.

13 points down at half time. Lukacs has 3. Has done some good things. He messed up 1 good attacking move that lead to a Centrals goal. He has a lot of upside about him. Centrals are a smooth moving side to give them credit.

Re: Bulldogs v Eagles June 17 Elizabeth oval
One of our worst efforts of the year. Too many players clearly didn’t want to be out there in the rain from the first bounce.
Centrals took account of the conditions and immediately adapted their gameplan to suit – scramble and bang the ball forward at every opportunity. By contrast we tried to bring a cute, dry weather game. It simply didn’t work. On too many occasions our blokes dropped relatively easy marks that would have led to set shots or had the ball slip out of their hands when attempting to have a snap at goal. On a wet day these errors are critical.
Beecken our best player once again. Lister and Buck pretty good. Not many other positives unfortunately.
Our midfield as a group was absolutely terrible today and were made to look like plodders. Centrals midfielders far too zippy and energetic.
I thought a whoever won today would have it well placed to lock onto 4th place come finals time. As it now stands we will be fighting a battle with three other teams to try and reach 5th.
A massive, massive lift will be required next week.

Re: Bulldogs v Eagles June 17 Elizabeth oval
I was out for lunch. Saw most of the first half, missed the first 20 minutes of the 3rd quarter and then saw the rest on TV.
So, I thought we played ok and maybe the result was my fault for switching off for most of that 3rd quarter? It seems the team did too during that period after half time?
During the period of time when Centrals usually beat us through the 2000's period, we would often be competitive at Elizabeth, but they'd have a wall of players at half back that we couldn't penetrate. It looked like they did that again today. Then ran it out using the big spaces. Maybe Paul Thomas has finally developed the cattle and fitness required of his players to play this way. Maybe Central are on the way back?

Re: Bulldogs v Eagles June 17 Elizabeth oval
Not the greatest spectacle today and it only got worse when it rained.
It seemed like we didn't kick enough and handballed too much but the numbers were almost the same (+1 Kicks, - 5 Handballs), we took 18 more marks and had 46 more tackles (that happens when you are chasing jumpers on a wet day) we won the hit outs by 8 and lost the clearances by 1. The biggest discrepancy was 9 less inside 50's and 7 scoring shots - luckily they didn't kick straight.
The Good
DBR - Not the best conditions for a ruckman but had 36 Hit outs after a few games out.
Luke Beecken - Another good performance.
Not so good
Dry weather footy on a firstly windy then wet day
Forward entries
4.2 - just pipped our lowest score at Elizabeth by a point.
Another tight game in the 2's against the Doggies, 3 games in about 6 weeks decided by 5, 5 and 7 points. Looked like we may have been able to get over the top midway through the last quarter but just fell short.

Are a few of the boys not really over their injuries, and are only playing 75% fit?
