Annual report 2023

I notice that this years annual report has been posted on the WWT site now.
Having a look at it i was disappointed to note that the only league team photo is a team with the indigenous uniform which is OK but the players are NOT named and the same applies to the girls team photo.
In the past there has always been a Squad photo which includes the seconds players as well. Perhaps they didn't even take one last year.
Apart from that there are ac ouple of minor errors that I noticed. the funniest one being Board member Shaun Conners being named as the Best Team Man in the photo with Joe Sinor.
Chrisstine Williams has told me that the whole complilation of the report fell on her alone as the shortage of staff and volunteers and funds makes it very difficult. So we can thank her for her efforts as in the main it is very good
As Christine told me the document is 60 pages long anyway and eevery thing could be included
Just voicing my opinion as the Club Historian

I was told at the AGM that the annual report was proof read by 5 people
I have just done a quick comparison of the stats quoted in the Annual report and there are 25 figures I do NOT agree with
The worst would be for Tyler Welsh who I have playing 17 games and kicking 39 for the under 16's The annual report shows him
playing 2 games and 7 goals
I don't know who compiles these stats at the office but I would say it seems a lot to be desired
