NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TO BE HELD AT WOODVILLE OVAL

ON TUESDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2011 AT 7.30





Notice of Annual General Meeting is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of both the Woodville West Torrens Football Club Ltd and Eagles Club Ltd will be held at the Eagles Club, Oval Avenue, Woodville South on Tuesday 8th February 2011 at 7.30pm and 8.00pm respectively.



Nominations were previously advertised for 3 required Directors Positions on the Board of Directors. The Club has received 5 nominations as follows;



DIRECTORS – 3 REQUIRED

Jim Owens

Steven Moore

Kurt Slaven

Brenton Montgomery

David Lang



A ballot will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 7pm at the Eagles Club on the day of the Annual General Meeting.



Any member who is unable to cast a vote on polling day may contact the Returning Officer at the Club on 8347 2444 for a ballot paper. The ballot paper is to be returned to the Returning Officer at the Club in the envelope provided by 7.00pm on polling day.

Good to see Steven Moore who played back in 91 and 92 throwing his hat in the ring.

talked to Moore today at eagles training he seemed like a nice guy.

It was nice for him to come up, talk to and introduce himself to us up in the stands and the players on the field and of course Kurt and CD were there too.

Agree Zest, it was good for Steven Moore to take the time to introduce himself to us at training tonight after he had spoken to the players, seems quite a pleasant & friendly guy.
I note our Chairman/President, Kurt Slaven who is also offering himself for re-election to the board has posted tonight on the forum under 'General Chat'.

Good effort from Slaven to deliver a profit again.

He has my vote! I remember Steven Moore so will vote for him. So Slaven and Moore - probably Lang as Owens never gives any of us normal folk the time of day.

Just opened the email from the club. Thankfully 4 of the 5 candidates want to be elected. With that pathetic statement if anyone votes for Owens they need to look in the mirror.

Agree Carrots12, I must admit I was very surprised by Jim Owens statement, or lack of.
David Lang has been on the board for many years but took the time to introduce himself to more recent members who may not be familiar with him or his involvement with the Club.
As previously mentioned I was quite impressed with Steven Moore when I met him at training last week.
I was a West Torrens supporter prior to the amalgamation & I do not recall having seen him play, unfortunately the memory isn't what it used to be.

That's a must Carrots12, our club has definitely moved forward with Kurt Slaven & Chris Davies at the top.
They should be congratulated for bringing in another profit for 2010.
