Our ruckman were totally out of it. Bomber did not have a kick which is totally unusual for him. I looked at the last 1/4 on SANFL website and he could not raise a gallop. Injured? Hall,Hayes,Goldy,Poole,Gaffney and Lauchie just could not get into it. They all dominated 2 weeks ago. There were signs in the second 1/4 where Sturt was massively up in marks and their tackling was superior. I just expected we would get up.

that is good news - while I was very critical of the $40k base we paid Ainger each year for his usual 8 possession game, I would feel much more comfortable this going to a 'competitor" like Schulz.

How was the crap Kurt was going on with last night - might be time to ship him off as well now we realise this place needs some adjustments

Dobber, I assume you are talking about Kurt Slaven. What happened or was said?
You know that there's a 24 hour rule and emotions run high after a day like that. Our side is good and a lot better than it performed Sunday. It happens.(too often for my linking)
We have some top talent in our reserves although it may not have shown.
I am still coming to grips that so many of our players were down and we did not play our normal hard running and high pressure Eagle game.

Devastating. We don't have too many problems at our club other than being the laughing stock for some of the other clubs to tee off on with our insipid grand final performances.
The structure of the club with Kurt is fine, he had to try to keep things positive - a hard gig.
We were well prepared & full strength but some of the players were awful again when it really counted.
I reckon there will be 5 spots up for grabs at least, some retirements already, someone travelling overseas, some just not good enough anymore. Our current squad needs refreshing with the addition of toughness and leg speed. Tough week again.

I saw on another forum that Ainger and Raymond are retiring. Any truth? and with Flash going, a few big outs. N O'Brien had a 1 year contract and Lewey may go. I am not sure what Wundke's status is. Lewey and Wundke need a fitness program if they stay.
We may have lost the reserves but I like Press, Haylock, Rowland, Jack Hayes and C Giles should be better for next year.
Schultz and Stewart would be good gets.

It is strange that nothing is coming out from the club since the GF. Even their website is quiet. A couple of comments on their facebook page.

Has Paul Stewart been delisted by the Power, I wasn't aware of this. Would you really go after Schulz given his age and recent issues with injury.
