Head in and about time

I'm not sure about anyone else? but I feel so happy Travis Head is going to get some games at National Level. For some reason for a South Aussie to represent Australia nowdays they need to be like Bradman or Warne. This shouldn't be the case as so many from the Eastern states get in the side picked from complete obscurity and only end up letting the Country down.

Ok he's not set the world on fire YET but I do see him as a player in the mould of David Hookes and Darren Lehmnam. It's good to see some other South Aussie's getting a go now.

Ok now it's time for Sayers. Bird out Sayers in. Sorry i'm not talking any more Footy in Cricket Season. Footy in Winter and Cricket in Summer that's me.

Looks like our SA boys will only be playing Big Bash this year anyway with the pay dispute escalating.

Beaten by all teams Bangladesh? too many NSW players in this team. How about Travis Head and Chad Sayers, Australia is not all about NSW. Time for cricket season Bring it on!!!!!

I'm no cricket expert but staggered that Chadd Sayers can't get a game, it seems he takes wickets for fun in the shield games.

Champing at the bit here for the Ashes to start with at least one South Aussie in side. But in the mean time got to fucus on a couple of VERY important footy games ahead!!!. BTW who saw the Tim Nielson story on the Magarey presentation telecast last night? Seems he's an old Torrens man like a lot of us are. Nice to see some old footage of early to mid 80's Bruce Lindsay, Kevin Hill etc and the bit from Scruff's and Both Clubs last game. Great stuff. Used to catch the bus from TTG to Thebby via the City back in those days before I had my licence.
