EAGLES INDUCT NEW LIFE GOVERNOR – BOB SIMUNSEN

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club will induct inaugural Woodville Football Club Captain, Bob Simunsen, as a Life Governor at the 2014 Club Champion Dinner on October 11.

Life Governorship is awarded to those whose contribution to the Club has been outstanding and whose characteristics, on and off field, exemplify what our great Club stands for. Bob Simunson is a worthy recipient of this honour.

Bob’s record is outstanding:

Captain of Woodville 1964 and 1971.
4 State games
Woodville Club Champion 1964, 1966 and 1967
Reserves Magarey Medallist 1961 and 1962
Woodville Football Club Life Member 1972
SA Football Hall of Fame (inducted 2006)
Bob joins other Club greats, Bob Hank (Dec’ d) Lindsay Head, Fred Bills, Malcolm Blight, Andrew Payze and Andrew Rogers as a Life Governor.
