Eagles first offical outing against the new foes !!!

No doubt it will be a flood fest; anything AFL when they see a couple (or even a trio) of big name forwards that's the answer. On the other hand, no one has even reached double figures yet for them this year.

I guess Channel 7 may have to hold up the play a few times so they can get their ads in with the few goals that will likely be kicked

He's one for Spelly's stats Mickyj will be missing his first game since 2006 . I'm away on holidays for this week . I'm hoping if the Crows hold "our Gang of Three" tall forward the small brigade will dominate !!!
And my darling daughter will hopefully get the recorder to work so Dad can watch the game when I get home !!!

I reckon you mean 2007 - there was no match at Elizabeth in 2006; the Bulldogs home match was at Adelaide for Anzac Day

We won the trial game against them 16 goals to 11, about 6 of those (for us) were in last qtr, prior to that skills from both sides were only fair at best, it was our first trial though. will be interesting if Cam E-Y and or Thommo head to Perth as emergencies for Crows, our 3 strong marking forwards who all play a bit different might test their defence, more so without Thommo.

If Cam and Luke dont play Riley Knight will be only ex Eagle playing against us.

Well that certainly wasn't an issue, well for the Crows anyway.

Think todays performance was worse than the day against Port, we broke even with them in 2 quarters.
Over 100 more possessions and 70 more marks, thats a lack of accountability.
Don't recall seeing so many players slip over, us and them, as I did today.
Spelly, you will be best to answer this, whats our record in say the last 3-5 years after a week off?
