Re: Parry Gone
That takes the gloss of a successful weekend. The past eventually catches up with you
Which umpire pinged him or was it on video review?

Re: Parry Gone
I have been sitting on this email for 1 hour! Im so bloody well psd off with Craig at the moment. Once again he has let our club down. Craig is a very good player for our club, but brings it all undone by his darn undisciplined actions. Wild as a bull. Hope that I dont feel this bad tomorrow. No one has to agree with me, but this is my opinion.

Re: Parry Gone
Just saw the "incident" on ABC News break. God help the game if you get rubbed out for something like that. Time to look for other games to follow I am thinking Perhaps Canadian Ice Hockey. What a joke this comp is becoming
Probably reported by that clown of an umpire Deboy, he is clueless

Re: Parry Gone
I agree as well eagleonly. As least it will free up a boatload of cash to get some more players. Probably wont do our culture any harm as well. I've moved on already

Refer to club email and link to sanfl media release - all details there.
Also if you want to record the game from last Saturday being replayed on ABC2 at 2:30am - in about 5 hours from now

Re: Parry Gone
I am happy for the club, but Craig, can he be trusted??
Hell I hope so, because the club has had a lot of faith in you.
Be the best you can now.

Re: Parry Gone
The WWTFC can confirm it was successful in its attempt to have Craig Parry re-registered at tonight’s SANFL Football Commission Hearing.
The Club presented a submission to the SANFL Football Commission with the aim of having Parry re-registered after he was suspended for 2 matches from the game versus North Adelaide on the weekend and subsequently de-registered under the National De-Registration Policy for exceeding the 16 game limit.
Football Manager Trent Hentschel said “The Club is extremely pleased with the outcome of tonight’s hearing. We felt we had strong case and we received a very fair hearing from the SANFL Football Commissioners. We endorse the National De-Registration Policy and believe the policy was brought in to stamp out the ‘ugly’ incidents in our game and not to ban a player of Craig’s character who has earned an enormous amount of respect within the SANFL. He is an integral part of what we want to achieve this year so to have him available for the finals is great. Craig has been a wonderful servant of the SANFL for 11 years so it’s fantastic that he gets the opportunity to continue his career.”
The ruling means Parry will miss the next 2 matches versus Norwood and West but will be free to play in the first week of the finals.

Re: Parry Gone
Will be interesting how this plays out. He will clearly become a target of the opposition, and knowing his brain size, will really struggle to control himself. Hope I'm wrong and his playing does not become a liability

Re: Parry Gone
If anything, having to control himself all season (until last week) has probably been a liability but we are a better side with him in it.
