Eagles need to win as do West !!

With Pittard injured for the Power, we could lose Cameron Heath this week to the Power. Best players in the seconds listed Joyce as Best but Appleton also showed a bit of pace and class and may get a spot. Also Kane Mitchell and Rowntree will be in the consideration.

Every game at the moment is a Blockbuster!!

Noticed Power listed defender Stevenson was in Norwood's best players Friday night,hopefully they pick him before Heath.

Yes "Eaglerock", for some reason Cameron Heath seems out of favour with Power and Stevenson may be taken this time. Good pick-up for us (replaces McKenzie nicely)- can play tall or short, delivers the ball well and even looked good running through the midfield against South a few weeks ago.
Anyway, we can always hope. Needs another ? 2 games to qualify for finals. Won't get Paul Stewart back this week but hopefully we can snag him for a few more before the end of the season.

Dominated in ruck, won the clearances from throw ins, broke even in clearances around the ground but got smashed in centre clearances (especially in the first 10 min of the 3rd qtr). Another ordinary performance in the wet/sloppy conditions.

THERE aren't really many options to bring in any way besides staple who kicking lives a lot to be disired

there are 3rd talls/ mediums or smalls none of which could replace him in the first place

the choices are
grocke, z fitzgarald, jacquier all injured or off injured last game

Dawson returning from injury

Sinor who's in form but I cant see him holding a key forward spot

unless we go in small with lane / karpany type player or bring in an extra midfielder and go in small. Then we are reliying on salter to compete for the whole game.

I cant see him being dropped as the other options are either injured or need game time as they are returning.

Fair point, just think we have the right to expect more that around a goal a game from a guy that is by far the highest paid player in our side. We have him around 10th in our award on this site. At least give us some presence and hard tough contests Ainger, or let us use that money on bringing in two blokes that can.
