Congrats to the two Rookies, hope you have a good one.

Got a really uneasy feel about this game....

Still find it hard we can't fit that 3rd tall up fwd, eg Fitzgerald/ Staple.
Wonder if we are a little small down back, esp if Stewert spends anytime fwd.

Our bench will be very inexperienced, but it's good to blood the kids.

I was worried for nothing.

Well done guys, ESP the two rookies.

I think half of Glenelgs score was due to our silly turnovers.

Disappointing to read each week in the Sunday Mail Seconds Results that under the heading "Best Players ", Eagles are not available when every other team supplys its best players. Is it an oversight by the officials of the Club or is it intentional gamesmanship - either way, its disappointing for interested supporters.

Could Broadbent be a big "In" for us against Centrals this week- has been quiet for the Power for several weeks and was the Sub on Saturday. With his size, running and kicking skills has always played well for us in the past.

Watching Staple closely against Glenelg, I reckon he's "cherry ripe" for promotion. Looks to be improving his second efforts on the ground and below his knee takes also. Through his junior grades, has always played as the tall go to leading player and has had difficulty adjusting to the flanker, tall forward pocket role but is improving this.

Interesting to reflect "Would we have kicked 9.0 straight goals if Grocke had been forward on Saturday" It's good to know our forwards will kick goals when in position BUT still like tove Grocke somewhere up there regardless.
